Dear Parents,
This is Honorable Dr. T. Venugopal, a visionary leader, philanthropist, and educationist who has dedicated his entire life to nation-building through education and social service. Born and brought up in a humble family, with parents who instilled in him the values of hard work, compassion, and service to society
He is the proud founder and chairman of the New Baldwin Group of Institutions (NBGI), which has been serving society for over three decades. Today, NBGI stands tall with more than 25,000 students and a dedicated team of 3,000 teaching and non-teaching staff. Taking education beyond boundaries, NBGI has flourished at the international level, establishing academic tie-ups with prestigious universities in Australia, Dubai, and Finland, enabling students to explore opportunities across the globe.
For his immense contribution to the field of education, he was conferred with a Doctorate from the University of California and also honored with the prestigious Kannada Rajyotsava Award.
Dr. T Venugopal is not only an educator but also a great entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has constructed 80 temples across South Karnataka, providing employment to hundreds of people.
His compassion is reflected in his remarkable social services—organizing mass marriages for over 600 couples, supporting the underprivileged, and performing the Ati Rudra Mahayaga for seven days with 108 spiritual gurus for the welfare of society.
Belonging to the Balija community, he has extended extraordinary support by granting scholarships to thousands of students every year, spending crores of rupees to ensure no child is deprived of education.
